Bristol through Banksy’s

Bristol’s most characteristic feature is found not at a museum or specific location, but on foot by taking a stroll through its streets. Wandering along through the cobbles and winding roads you can discover its wealth of ever changing street art, a walking gallery. Home of the infamous Banksy, Bristol has attracted new and seasoned street artists from all over the country turning each unmarked wall into a blank canvas.

As I explored Bristol by hunting for Banksy’s, I was taken aback by how much personality and colour the city displayed. Often cited as the birthplace of UK’s graffiti scene, it routinely hosts Upfest - Europe's largest live street art and graffiti festival.

If you’re looking to travel to Bristol and have an appetite for street art, be sure to take a look at Wanderer of the World’s Banksy’s walking tour. I used their guide to map out and plan my routes, making sure that I hit all the famous murals that Bristol had to offer.
